About 100,000 international visitors to Quang Ninh during the 2024-2025 cruise season

According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism , during the cruise tourism season from October 2024 to December 2025, Quang Ninh is expected to welcome about 60 cruise ships, bringing over 100,000 international visitors to Ha Long.

Accordingly, from October 18 to December 30, 2024, there are expected to be 14 cruise ships arriving at the port, owned by shipping lines such as: Costa Serena; Viking Orion; Seven Seas Explorer; Celebrity Solstice; Le Lapouser; Mein Schiff 6; Seabourn Encore; Noordam... Each cruise carries a maximum of 3,500 passengers and at least 200 international visitors to Ha Long for sightseeing and relaxation for 1/2-1 day.

Quang Ninh has rich tourism potential and has a synchronous, modern infrastructure, meeting the needs of luxury international visitors.

From January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, it is expected that there will be 46 cruise ships bringing visitors to Ha Long, Quang Ninh. The earliest arrival is on January 4, 2025, carrying 2,800 visitors and the last arrival is on December 23, 2025, carrying 600 visitors. Major cruise lines carrying 2,000 or more visitors to Ha Long are: Celebrity Solstice; MEDITERRANEA; Noordam; MSC Splendida; BRILLIANT LADY; Mein Schiff 6; Costa Serena; Westerdam;…

Cruise tourism is currently playing an important role in attracting and increasing the number of international visitors to Quang Ninh province. The Department of Tourism also requested departments, branches, localities, agencies and units to continue to create favorable conditions for cruise tourism activities and tourism businesses in organizing to welcome these visitors.
