By the morning of October 19, the auction of construction sand mining rights at the DB2B mine (Dien Tho commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province) ended.

Accordingly, the auction was organized by Dien Ban Town People's Committee in coordination with Hoa Thuan Joint Stock Auction Company.
The type of mineral auctioned is construction sand, with an area of over 6 hectares, the mine reserve according to the approved plan is 159 thousand m3, the starting price R is 5%, the price step 16%R is 0.8%, the deposit is over 242 million VND.
After 200 rounds of bidding, starting from the morning of October 18 and ending at around 4am on October 19, the sand mine was priced at 370 billion VND, an increase of 1,534.6% compared to the starting price.
Final bid in sand mining rights auction
The winning bidder is a business based in Da Nang City.
The incident surprised many auction participants and businesses in the mineral exploitation business. According to these units, the price of 370 billion VND for 159 thousand m3 is too high.
The leader of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee said that he had received the information and directed the relevant authorities to investigate. If there is any violation of bidding regulations, it will be strictly handled according to the law.
