The meteorological agency said that tonight, October 22, cold air will affect the mountainous areas of the North, then affect other places in the Northeast, North Central, some places in the Northwest and North Central.
From October 23, the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have cool days and cold nights and mornings; the mountainous regions of the North will have cold nights and mornings.

Despite being affected by the strengthening cold air, according to AccuWeather's forecast, on October 23, Hanoi's air quality is still at a harmful level with an air quality index (AQI) of around 100 (the good threshold is 0-50).
