Sputnik news agency reported that speaking on the sidelines of the Bali International Air Show 2024, Mr. Wijaya said: "On behalf of the Indonesian Air Force, I emphasize that we are ready to cooperate with many different countries. There is political and diplomatic goodwill."

According to him, the country will conduct negotiations with foreign delegations within the framework of the Air Show from September 18-21.

"We hope this move will translate into practical cooperation in the future," an Indonesian military official said.

Noting that Indonesia has experience in cooperating with China, the United States and Australia, Mr. Wijaya emphasized: "We are completely open. We do not take sides or limit ourselves to cooperating with only one country. In our eyes, everyone is equal."

The Bali International Airshow is a major aerospace and defense technology event in Southeast Asia. The event is expected to attract more than 100 delegations from over 35 countries and regions.

The exhibition brings together global aerospace industry leaders, major defense companies and industry experts, showcasing cutting-edge aviation technologies, military defense systems and sustainable aerospace solutions.
