The fourth quarter is the time when many of the most concentrated, large-scale and vibrant promotional events of the year take place. This is considered an important period to better promote consumer motivation, contributing to the economic growth target for the whole year. Especially by effectively utilizing e-commerce, a sales channel that according to some market reports is recording a revenue growth rate of nearly 40% over the same period last year.

For the past two months, this food company has started to open more sales channels on e-commerce platforms to capture the consumption trends of young people. This is also the way the company responds, in the context of difficult purchasing power.

Researchers estimate that in the last quarter, genuine stores on e-commerce contributed nearly one-third of the total revenue of the entire market, with an increase of more than 50% over the same period last year, showing a positive transformation of large enterprises.

Mr. Pham Bao Trung - Customer Growth Solution Consultant, Metric commented: “Sales are growing higher. That is partly due to the shift from large sellers, professional brands. One is that they have invested more in the e-commerce market. Second, the remaining sellers are focusing much more on improving their competitiveness.”

Experts note that online sellers must become increasingly professional in a rapidly changing market context. In particular, fierce competition between e-commerce platforms, leading to price competition, is still taking place.
