Vote Count in 7 Battleground States: Trump - Harris Are Tied in Pennsylvania

In US presidential elections, every vote counts, but the votes in 7 battleground states are watched the most, because they have the potential to determine the final victory. The 7 battleground states contribute a total of 93 electoral votes, including Arizona (11 electoral votes); Georgia (16 votes); Michigan (15 votes); Nevada (6 votes); North Carolina (16 votes); Pennsylvania (19 votes); Wisconsin (10 votes). Updated to 9:30 a.m. on November 6 (Vietnam time) by the New York Times , the battleground state of Georgia is currently leaning towards Mr. Trump. The results of counting 76% of the votes show that Mr. Trump is currently leading by 6% in this state and has a 77% chance of winning. In Michigan, the results of counting 12% of the votes show that Ms. Harris is leading by about 8% of the votes. Ms. Harris is temporarily leading in the popular vote, but the uncounted votes could still tip the balance, so the advantage in this state is not yet clear.
North Carolina is a battleground for Trump. With 53% of the vote counted, Trump is leading by about 3% and that trend appears to be continuing. Trump has an 80% chance of winning the state. The two candidates are tied in the battleground state of Pennsylvania , which has the most electoral votes (19). With 28% of the vote counted, Harris is leading by about 11%, but uncounted votes could still flip the result in this state. With 10% of the vote counted in Wisconsin, Trump is leading by 8%, but uncounted votes could still flip the result in this state. The results of the vote counts in Nevada and Arizona are still unknown.

Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were once a “blue wall” for Democrats. But that was shattered in 2016 when Mr Trump flipped all three states, giving him a decisive victory over his opponent that year, Mrs Clinton. Four years later, Mr Biden won after retaking Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for the Democrats, and also unexpectedly winning Georgia and Arizona, two states that had previously supported the Republican Party.
