Reflecting to SGGP Newspaper, people of Ta Nang commune, Lam Dong province said that recently, the provincial road DT.729, about 15km long, running through Tan Ha village, To Mrang village, Cho Rung village (Ta Nang commune) has been seriously degraded, affecting the daily life and production of more than 430 households with about 1,800 people.

According to the records here, the DT.729 route through Ta Nang commune is still a gravel dirt road. After the rains, DT.729 becomes a nightmare for every person who has to pass through here because it is often flooded and muddy.
The road surface has long been eroded, creating potholes and mud, posing a danger to people and vehicles.

Being present to record the reality, we witnessed many scenes of trucks carrying agricultural products getting stuck, many cases of cars getting stuck so deep that they had to use tractors to pull them out of the mud.
For motorcyclists, having to "lie down on the road" happens even more often because there is no other choice.

According to local residents, the situation is no better during the dry season because the road surface is dry and dusty. This not only affects people’s health but also reduces visibility when participating in traffic, affects roadside crops and the quality of life.

People hope that the road will soon be upgraded so that the transportation of agricultural products and goods from Ta Nang commune to neighboring areas will be convenient, and agricultural products will not be forced to lower prices or damaged due to long transportation times.
According to the planning orientation, the DT.729 route will be invested in new construction and upgraded to meet the standards of a grade 4 mountainous road. The total length of this route is about 25.8 km (including about 10.7 km of new construction and 15.1 km of upgrading and expansion). Currently, many sections have not been built synchronously and have degraded, making it very difficult and unsafe for vehicles to move, especially during the rainy season.
