Follow these ways to prevent phone hacking

Người Lao ĐộngNgười Lao Động15/01/2024

Currently, most phone users do not know how to protect their devices from hackers who intend to infiltrate and exploit personal information data for fraud and property appropriation.

Here are some ways to help protect your phone from being hacked.

Update to the latest software

Users should install the latest software/app updates as soon as they are released. This will help patch vulnerabilities in the phone and increase security.

Be careful when installing applications

Normally, when installing an application, you will be asked to grant access permissions, provide information, synchronize phone contacts, enable location... You need to consider before approving that request.

In particular, for unverified applications/software or from websites of unknown origin, users should not download them but should seek advice from knowledgeable people and technology experts.

Check everything on your phone

If you see strange applications on your phone or feel suspicious, you should delete them immediately to make your device "clean".

For Android, there are free apps available from Avast and McAfee that will alert you if you’re trying to install a suspicious app and warn you if someone is trying to trick you into entering your password into a “dirty” app or website.

Change your password regularly

You should regularly change the password on your phone or use Touch ID to increase the level of security. In addition, keep personal information secure and ensure that the phone is locked when not in use.

Sync accounts across devices

Syncing your Google Chrome or Safari account with your mobile device and computer saves you time retyping saved passwords, and protects your device from unsafe websites.
