According to leader Khamenei, "the way of expression will be decided by Iranian officials and what is most beneficial for the people and the country will be done".

Iran's official news agency quoted Mr. Khamenei as saying: "The evil actions of the Jewish (Israeli) regime over the past two nights should not be underestimated or exaggerated."

A day earlier, Iran downplayed the severity of an overnight Israeli airstrike on Iranian military targets, saying the damage was limited.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden called for a halt to the escalation of tensions that are raising concerns about a full-blown conflict in the Middle East.

Dozens of fighter jets completed three pre-dawn strikes targeting missile factories and other facilities near Tehran and western Iran, the Israeli military said.

Meanwhile, according to a source from the US news portal Axios, Israel's airstrike on Iran on October 26 severely crippled Tehran's ballistic missile program. Israeli sources revealed that Tel Aviv's attack on October 26 successfully destroyed 12 "planetary mixers" - key equipment used to produce solid propellant for Iran's long-range missiles.

A senior US official also confirmed the information, saying that the attack had crippled Iran's missile production capacity. In addition, Israeli sources also said that the airstrike targeted four air defense sites protecting Tehran and some of Iran's nuclear and energy infrastructure.

On the Iranian side, the Fars news agency reported that Israel attacked several military bases in the western and southwestern regions of the capital Tehran. However, the Tasnim news agency affirmed that the military centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in this area were not damaged.
