In 2025, the Xa Tac Temple Festival (Mong Cai City) will be held on February 27 and 28 (ie January 30 and February 1 of the lunar calendar) with both the ceremony and festival parts.
According to the plan, on February 27, there will be a proclamation ceremony, a water-granting ceremony, a bathing ceremony and a welcoming art program. On February 28, there will be an incense offering ceremony by the delegation of the province and Mong Cai city; the opening ceremony of the Xa Tac temple festival 2025; the welcoming ceremony (the procession of the Gods in spring), the anointing ceremony, the Xa Tac worship ceremony; the offering ceremony of items from communes, wards, agencies and units; the worship ceremony for sentient beings and the departure ceremony. Xa Tac Temple is located on the bank of Ka Long River bordering Vietnam - China, in Quarter 3, Ka Long Ward, Mong Cai City. The temple was recognized as a provincial relic in 2005; ranked as a national relic in 2020. Since 2018, the Xa Tac Temple festival has been restored, receiving the attention and support of many people.
