At Anfield, Liverpool and Man City drew 1-1 after a dramatic chase in round 28 of the 2023/2024 Premier League. Stones opened the scoring for Man City in the 23rd minute, while Mac Allister equalized 1-1 for Liverpool from the penalty spot in the 50th minute.
The 1-1 draw means Liverpool and Man City are locked in a tight race for the title this season. Liverpool have dropped to second place behind Arsenal with 64 points each but are behind on goal difference. Meanwhile, Man City are in third place with 63 points, just 1 point behind the top two teams after 28 rounds of the 2023/2024 Premier League.

The 4-0 victory helped coach Ancelotti's team consolidate the top position in La Liga with 69 points, 7 points more than the second-placed team Girona.
