In the MV, artist Kenny G performs the song Going Home at famous landmarks in Hanoi such as: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Long Bien Bridge...

It can be said that this is the most beautiful MV about Hanoi when it features most of the famous cultural and historical sites of the capital with excellent camera angles. Especially, they appear on the background of the world-famous music of the world- class saxophone artist who has been familiar to millions of audiences around the world since 1990.

This can also be considered the best tourism promotion MV about Hanoi, introducing Vietnamese values to the world audience through the legendary trumpet sound.

In November 2023, saxophonist Kenny G had two explosive performances in Hanoi during his second tour in Vietnam. At the show at the National Convention Center in Hanoi on the evening of November 14, 2023, thousands of audiences were captivated by the American legend's trumpet with famous songs associated with his name, including Going Home .

After the show, Kenny G appeared at famous landmarks in Hanoi on November 15 to perform the MV Going Home .

At the time of filming the MV, artist Kenny G wrote a handwritten message to express his feelings for the capital and Vietnamese audiences: "Hanoi is a wonderful city with wonderful people. Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me."

In the newly released MV Going Home , the audience can simultaneously hear the saxophone in Kenny G's familiar song and admire the landmarks with cultural and historical values of Hanoi as well as Vietnam including: Long Bien Bridge at dawn, Hoan Kiem Lake at the end of the year, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam...

Journalist Le Quoc Minh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper said that the entire process of filming and post-production of the MV was completed a long time ago, but the copyright application process took too much time.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh said there are dozens of familiar songs by Kenny G, but the organizers decided to choose Going Home because it gives listeners the feeling of returning home.

The organizers planned to release this MV before Tet because many people had time at home to watch this MV, but in the end, they had to wait until now to release the MV Going Home because the copyright of this song was only completed a week ago.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared that it was difficult to have to throw away his emotions after watching the MV Going Home many months ago without being able to share it because he had to wait for copyright, and today he can only release it to Vietnamese audiences even though the organizers hope to be able to release it before Tet Nguyen Dan 2024.

"We are very happy that the product has been completed and can be widely announced, contributing to introducing Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general to domestic people and international friends," he said.

At the MV launch ceremony on the afternoon of April 19, the Organizing Committee presented the MV Going Home to the leaders of Hanoi city, VTV, television stations, and major tourism corporations to spread this wonderful music product.
