Madam Pang was elected as the President of the Football Association of Thailand. She becomes the 18th President of Thailand's largest football organization.

Madam Pang won by a landslide, with 68 votes out of 73, or 93%. This is the highest number ever recorded. The four candidates running with Madam Pang include Phayurin Ngampring, Warong Wittaya, Thanasak Suraprasert and Khomkrit Napalai.

Madam Pang becomes the first woman to be President in the 108-year history of the Football Association of Thailand, and the first woman in Asia to head a member football federation or association of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Ms. Pang's term lasts from 2024 to 2028. The Football Association of Thailand will have to submit the election results to the World Football Federation (FIFA) for confirmation.

Madam Pang's real name is Nualphan Lamsam. She is one of the most influential figures in the development of Thai football over the years.

From 2015 to 2019, Madam Pang was the head of the Thai women's team and made history when she and the team won the right to go to the Women's World Cup twice.

She was then appointed by the Football Association of Thailand as the head of the Thai men's national football team. She played a major role in recruiting coach Mano Polking, helping Thailand win the 2021 AFF Cup.

In 2022, Madam Pang followed U23 Thailand to participate in the 31st SEA Games, but the "War Elephants" lost to U23 Vietnam in the final match. However, the team of this country passed the preliminary round of the 2023 Asian Cup.

Recently, she and the Thai team entered the 1/8 round of the 2023 Asian Cup. This was also her last tournament with the team before resigning. Before that, she also resigned as President of Port FC to run for President of the Football Association of Thailand.
