The 3rd week, 3rd month, 2nd quarter of the 24th Road to Olympia witnessed a dramatic competition between 4 climbers: Le Tra My (Soc Son High School - Hanoi ), Luu Ngoc Anh (Hung Yen High School - Hung Yen), Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted - Gia Lai) and Nguyen Vu Anh Duc (Le Hong Phong High School - Thai Nguyen).
4 climbers compete this week.
Entering the first round - Warm-up, Tra My was the first contestant in the individual round. The female student answered 5/6 questions, earning 50 points. Nhat Minh followed closely behind with 40 points, Ngoc Anh and Anh Duc tied with 20 points.
After the general warm-up round, Tra My and Nhat Minh chased each other continuously but the leader was still Tra My with 80 points. Nhat Minh 70 points, Anh Duc 50 points and Ngoc Anh 10 points.
The keyword for this week's Obstacle Course consists of 8 letters. The first horizontal line has the question: "Which word is used to refer to an ancient story about the origin of something, which is still being told? (according to the Great Vietnamese Dictionary, edited by Nguyen Nhu Y, NXBVH-TT)".
As the only contestant to give the answer "The Legend", Tra My won 10 points for this question.
The second row had the question: "Which region of Asia has an area of about 4.5 million square kilometers and a population of over 500 million people?". All four contestants won points for correctly answering "Southeast Asia".
The third horizontal row has the question: "In the Lunar calendar, the year of the goat is called the year...?". All 4 candidates continued to win points on this question with the answer "Smell".

In the fourth row, the question was given to the contestants: "Which word is missing in the following idiom: "Lying... tasting honey?". The answer given was "Pierce", and all contestants won an additional 10 points.
After 4 questions, no contestant rang the bell. However, just as the MC was about to answer the last question to open the image in the center, Anh Duc rang the bell to answer the obstacle and gave the answer "Durian". This was the correct answer, bringing Anh Duc's total score to 110 points but still could not surpass Tra My's score of 120. Meanwhile, Nhat Minh had 100 points and Ngoc Anh had 40 points.
When it comes to the Acceleration round, the score gap between the contestants is not too high. This is also considered a round for contestants to level the score or rise with significant scores.
In question 3, Tra My was the only one who answered differently from the other three contestants, but she was the only one who got the correct answer, earning her another 40 points. In question 4, although all four contestants got the correct answer, Tra My was the fastest. At the end of the Acceleration round, Tra My was still in the lead with 230 points.
Entering the decisive round - Finish, Tra My chose the safe package of 3 questions worth 20 - 20 - 20 points. Due to incorrect answers to the first and second questions, Tra My lost 20 points to Anh Duc and the next 20 points to Nhat Minh. By the third question, Tra My regained her composure and answered correctly. At the end of the round, Tra My had 210 points.
Like Tra My, Nhat Minh chose the 3-question package of 20 - 20 - 20 points. After three excellent answers, Nhat Minh temporarily took the lead with 240 points.
Anh Duc chose the 20 - 30 - 20 point package. In the 30 point question, after Anh Duc could not give an answer, Tra My rang the bell and gave the correct answer, bringing the total to 240 points, meaning Tra My and Nhat Minh were joint leaders of the show. With the last question, Anh Duc chose Hope Star and got an additional 40 points. Anh Duc's score after this round was 170 points.
In Ngoc Anh's first question in the Finishing round, Nhat Minh was the one who answered correctly and brought himself 20 more points, temporarily leading with 260 points. Meanwhile, in the last question, Tra My pressed the bell to answer. Although extremely nervous and lacking confidence, this was a correct answer.
Thus, Tra My and Nhat Minh tied the score at 260 points and had to enter the Extra Question round. With the extra question about history, the female student from Soc Son High School gave the correct answer in the shortest time, officially becoming the laurel wreath winner.

In the end, Tra My got 260 points, Ngoc Anh got 30 points, Nhat Minh got 260 points and Anh Duc got 155 points. With this week's laurel wreath, Tra My will continue to participate in the Monthly competition. Meanwhile, Nhat Minh will also return as the runner-up with the highest score of the month.
