Conflict, murder in year-end drinking party

On the afternoon of February 9, the leader of the People's Committee of Thinh Loc commune (Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province) said that Loc Ha district police are coordinating with the provincial police and relevant agencies to investigate and clarify the murder case that occurred in Hong Thinh village.

According to initial information, at around 11:45 p.m. on February 8, during a year-end drinking party, due to a personal conflict, Phan Dinh Song Pha (born in 1992, Hong Thinh village) used a weapon to attack NVN (born in 1988, Hong Thinh village), causing the victim to collapse on the spot.

Although Mr. N. was quickly taken to the emergency room by everyone, due to severe injuries, he died that same night.

Authorities temporarily detained Phan Dinh Song Pha and examined the scene to investigate the incident.

Phan Dinh Song Pha works as a worker in the North and returned home for Tet about 2 to 3 days ago, while the victim NVN returned home from Taiwan about 2 months ago.

Before this year-end drinking party, Phan Dinh Song Pha had gone drinking in many other places.
