On November 27, at the WTC Expo Binh Duong International Exhibition Center ( Binh Duong province), the opening ceremony of the 5th International Exhibition on Smart Furniture Solutions Vietnam 2024 - SFS VIETNAM 2024 took place.
The event is organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) in collaboration with BIFA Trading and Service Joint Stock Company and Pablo Publishing & Exhibition, taking place until November 30.
SFS VIETNAM 2024 has a scale of nearly 200 booths of more than 180 exhibitors from countries and territories, displaying and introducing diverse products such as: Raw materials and supplies (solid wood, wooden boards; industrial wood); wood processing tools and accessories (saws, blades, cutters, drill bits, router bits...).

According to records, besides Vietnamese enterprises such as Phuong Linh Electromechanical Group, Nguyen Phuc Mechanical Company, Lam Thao Company, this exhibition has the participation of many international units and customers, mainly from China.
Accordingly, Chinese enterprises will display and introduce a variety of machinery, equipment and technologies such as wood processing (saws, molding machines, 5-axis CNC woodworking milling machines, engraving machines, dryers, etc.); surface treatment and finishing chemicals (adhesives, abrasives, paints, coatings, etc.).
In particular, at this exhibition, many Chinese units introduced advanced and intelligent technologies such as computer technology, innovation, production software (robotics, automation, iot technology, industry 5.0...).

A representative of a Chinese enterprise said that Vietnam is a country with strengths in wood and furniture production, with Binh Duong at the top. Therefore, many Chinese enterprises participated in this exhibition with the common goal of introducing more advanced technologies and very competitive prices to customers.

According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's wood export turnover in the 11 months of 2024 is estimated to reach more than 14 billion USD.
