A 10-year-old boy in Quang Tri was attacked by a monkey.

Immediately after chasing away the monkey, the family quickly took Q. to the emergency room in a state of bleeding in many places on the body.

On July 4, the leader of Cam Lo Commune Medical Center, Quang Tri Province, said that the unit had just received a patient bitten by a monkey. The patient is BTNQ, 10 years old, residing in Dak Lak Province.

The monkey is suspected of attacking baby Q.

Q. was hospitalized at the surgical department of Cam Lo Commune Medical Center with injuries to his head and buttocks.

On July 3, Q. and his family traveled from Dak Lak province to visit relatives in Doc Kinh village, Cam Lo commune (Cua region). At around 9:00 a.m. on July 3, Q. went to Rao Vinh stream to play. On the way, they encountered a monkey standing on the side of the road. It suddenly rushed forward and continuously bit Q.'s head and buttocks, causing Q. to fall to the ground.

On the same day, the leader of Cam Lo - Dong Ha Forest Protection Department said that he had sent forces to quickly inspect and verify to organize a siege to avoid people being attacked and injured by monkeys.
