On December 7, Duc Hoa District Police, Long An Province, are investigating a slashing incident that occurred in Hoa Khanh Tay Commune, Duc Hoa District.
The person who used a knife to slash the person was Nguyen Ngoc Quy (37 years old; residing in Hiep Hoa commune, Duc Hoa district). The victim was Ms. NTTT (43 years old; residing in Hoa Khanh Tay commune).
Victim's face was disfigured
Initially, the police worked and took the suspect Quy's statement. Meanwhile, the victim is being treated at the hospital with very serious injuries.
According to initial information, Quy and Ms. T. used to work as workers in Ho Chi Minh City and had a relationship. However, Ms. T. recently discovered that Quy already had a wife and children, so she broke off the relationship. However, Quy still wanted to hold on and met Ms. T. many times.
After many unsuccessful attempts to persuade her, on the afternoon of December 1, Quy drove his motorbike from Hiep Hoa to Ms. T's house.
Upon arriving, Quy pushed Mrs. T. down and then swung the knife repeatedly at the victim's head and face...
Despite being seriously injured in the face, Mrs. T. kept begging Quy to spare her life. When she saw Mrs. T. unconscious, Quy let go and left.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for treatment with a disfigured face.
