At the regular Government press conference on the afternoon of August 7, Major General Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said that the organization of the parade and march in the celebration of the 80th National Day on September 2 has been assigned by the Central Government to the Ministry of National Defense to preside over, coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi City and relevant departments, ministries, branches, agencies and units, and will be carried out at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2, 2025.
Regarding some key timelines, Major General Tong Van Thanh said that the general training of the armed forces will take place from 8:00 p.m. on August 21 and 24. The preliminary review at the state level will take place from 8:00 p.m. on August 27.
State-level rehearsal from 6:30 a.m. on August 30.
The official ceremony is at 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025 and the location is at Ba Dinh Square./.
