On November 5, a clip was circulated on social media recording a young man riding a motorbike without a helmet, carrying a girl sitting with her back turned, and performing wheelies, causing outrage among netizens.
Through investigation, the incident occurred on a road located in Thu Thiem urban area, Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city.

According to the clip, the young man was not wearing a helmet, driving a red Vario motorbike (license plate not yet determined), carrying a girl sitting behind him, turning her back, then wheelie-ing the motorbike and traveling a long distance on one wheel. The girl sitting behind him used her arms to hold the young man tightly so he wouldn't fall onto the road.
The 48-second clip was filmed by a person moving in the same direction. The area where the young man was riding was also the area where model Ngoc Trinh was riding a motorbike, performing dangerous movements such as sitting with both legs to one side, spreading both arms while driving at high speed, etc., which was recently handled by the police.
Thu Duc City Police are investigating and verifying the above clip and will handle it in accordance with legal regulations.
