DNO - Currently, youth union organizations in the city are implementing many plans to organize summer activities for children and youth suitable for each locality.

In Hai Chau ward, the Standing Committee of the ward Youth Union held a meeting and agreed on a series of summer activities for children and youth in 2025, starting from July 6 and ending at the end of August 2025.

With the new, larger administrative boundaries, the ward union organized a number of common activities for the youth of the entire ward, especially implementing a series of activities to celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), to connect and gather union members, as well as mobilize young people to participate in local activities.

Along with that, to improve the quality of summer activities to suit the new situation, the ward union divided union members and youth from 5 old wards into 2 clusters.

Nguyen Cong Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Youth Union, said that summer activities for local youth are organized with diverse topics, in which clusters proactively develop new activities suitable for each residential area.

The activities focus on training union members and young people in working skills, quick reflexes, team spirit and creative thinking. In addition, the activity clusters also focus on integrating life skills education , digital skills and accident and injury prevention...

Similarly, in Cam Le ward, the ward union held a meeting to deploy the work of receiving young people for summer activities in the locality and adjusting the summer activity plan for union members and young people.

Ms. Ho Thi Phuong Thao, a union officer of Cam Le ward, said that the union organizes activities in clusters linked to residential areas, including 9 clusters, maintaining activities every Saturday and Sunday with nearly 700 young people participating.

On that basis, the Youth Union Secretaries of residential areas develop plans and organize summer activities for youth and children suitable to their age, interests, space and local situation.

Many members of residential area cluster 5, Cam Le ward participated in summer activities.

Activities in residential areas are organized in a variety of content and forms such as: learning secret messages, game management skills, decoding practice, organizing and running games, improving teamwork skills...

From there, create a useful playground, a practical training environment, contributing to improving the quality of summer activities for children.

According to the City Youth Union, summer activities at the grassroots level are generally organized stably and creatively, with many new models suitable for each residential area, and diverse topics such as: "Safe and useful summer fun", "Gen Z catches the trend"...

In the coming time, the City Youth Union will continue to guide localities to focus on organizing life skills education activities for children and adolescents.
