Upgrading Vietnam - New Zealand relations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

On the afternoon of February 26, 2025, in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon held talks and witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries. After the talks, the two Prime Ministers issued a Statement upgrading the Vietnam-New Zealand relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
