According to Russian sources, this Bradley was shot down by Russian snipers at the Avdeevka battlefield on November 20. This is the first US infantry fighting vehicle to be safely transferred to base.

According to the same source, this infantry fighting vehicle was knocked out during the fighting on the northern slope of Avdeevka, but for a long time could not be transferred to the rear for various reasons, but in the end their efforts were rewarded.

"It is clear that we have finally done this. The Bradley has been brought back to the rear," a Russian source said.

It is known that this is the first US infantry fighting vehicle that Russia has captured that has been objectively confirmed. In fact, Moscow has shot down many US M2 Bradleys, but this is the first time such a combat vehicle has been disabled.

"The other vehicles were almost completely destroyed, making it difficult to study," the source added.

And this time, Russian military engineers will be able to quickly learn the pros and cons of the weapons, communications systems and optical equipment integrated inside the vehicle.

The captured infantry fighting vehicle most likely belonged to the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura", which first took part in the summer counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye direction, and then was transferred to Avdeevskoe.

According to one news site, the brigade lost up to 42 M2A2 ODS Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in the battles.

The first US infantry fighting vehicles were delivered to Ukraine in April and were specially prepared for the summer counteroffensive, which was supposed to bring victory to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

However, in the very first days of the counteroffensive, the Ukrainian army suffered heavy losses in both manpower and armored vehicles provided by the West.
