The estimated output value in 2024 is 1,960 billion VND, disbursed capital is more than 1,739 billion VND, reaching 95.3% of the plan. Transport activities are guaranteed to be smooth, serving people's lives and production and business activities. Traffic accidents continue to decrease in all 3 criteria.

Deploying the tasks in 2025, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested the Nghe An Department of Transport to make efforts and determination to strive to complete the set goals and tasks on state management as well as investment in developing transport infrastructure. The Department needs to pay attention to streamlining and standardizing the apparatus, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of each department, office and unit in accordance with the direction of the Politburo . The Department of Transport focuses on directing and closely coordinating with localities to remove difficulties in site clearance work to speed up the progress of projects to put them into use soon and promote project effectiveness. Good management of the transport infrastructure system; Focus on directing and promoting inspection, examination, detection and resolute handling of violations of road and waterway traffic safety order, encroachment on traffic safety corridors, regulations on transportation, construction quality, testing work... Closely coordinate with central agencies to implement investment projects on airports, seaports and railways in the province.
