Accordingly, on Monday, January 15, implementing the provisions of the Constitution and the Law on Organization of the National Assembly , the 5th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will solemnly open at the National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital.
In the past time, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Nationalities Council, the National Assembly Committees, the agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly delegations, the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals have urgently prepared the contents to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At 7:30 a.m., the National Assembly will hold a preparatory meeting to listen to the following contents: Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong reports on the reception, explanation, and adjustment of the expected program of the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly;
Then, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the program of the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly;
Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the National Assembly Delegation of An Giang province, from the duties of a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.
At 8:00 a.m. the same day, the National Assembly held the Opening Session of the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House. The Opening Session was broadcast live by Voice of Vietnam (VOV1), Vietnam Television (VTV1), and Vietnam National Assembly Television .
