On July 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An announced that it had just issued the Rules of the photo and video contest with the theme “Nghe An Happiness – Happy Nghe An 2025”. This is an artistic playground to introduce and promote the beautiful landscape, unique culture and image of Nghe An people to a wide audience at home and abroad.
The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over, with no limit on the number of entries. The two categories include photos and videos. Photos must be digital in JPG format, minimum size 3,000 pixels, minimum size 3MB. Videos must be in MP4 format, no longer than 5 minutes, maximum size 200MB. The works must be created between January 1, 2023 and October 1, 2025.
The Organizing Committee encourages works that honor cultural beauty, reflect the achievements of innovation, international integration and arouse the development aspirations of Nghe An province. Entries must ensure legality, copyright and not violate traditional customs.
The award structure includes first, second and third prizes in each category. In addition to certificates, cash prizes will be awarded according to regulations of the People's Council of Nghe An province. Outstanding works will be selected for exhibition, scored for admission to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and considered for annual titles.
The Organizing Committee will accept entries from July 15 to October 1, 2025 at the online address: https://nghean.vietnam.vn . All personal information of the author will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purpose of organizing and communicating the contest.
The Organizing Committee would like to note that members of the Jury and Secretariat are not allowed to participate in the contest. In case of copyright infringement, the Organizing Committee will revoke the award and make a public announcement.
The contest “Nghe An Happiness – Happy Nghe An 2025” hopes to contribute to spreading the image of a peaceful, developed and hospitable Nghe An to domestic and international friends.
