According to the reporter's observation, these two dragon-shaped bonsai trees are quite proportional in size, each about 30m long, more than 3m high, and are trimmed and curved on stone pedestals. The dragon's eyes and mouth are shaped with white plastic sheets, creating a special, novel point.

However, according to local residents, these two dragon-shaped trees have been around for more than 10 years, and have existed at this location for a long time, and Vinh City residents and other localities are very familiar with these two bonsai trees. Therefore, this is not the image of the dragon in the year of Giap Thin 2024 that Vinh City created to welcome the new year.

Discussing this issue, Mr. Phan Xuan Bao - Director of Vinh City Green Park Joint Stock Company said: These two bonsai trees were shaped a dozen years ago, over time, these bonsai trees grew to create a very special shape. On the occasion of Tet, the workers of the unit decorated and embellished them. This is not the image of a dragon welcoming the New Year as some newspapers and public opinion are interested in, but the official dragon mascot will be erected by the unit in the near future.

Specifically, Mr. Phan Xuan Bao said that it is expected that on December 27 of the lunar calendar, the dragon mascot symbolizing the year of Giap Thin 2024 will be erected and decorated at the art flower garden, Ho Tung Mau Street, Vinh City. This is a project that has been planned in advance and will be implemented on time.
