Amanda, 32, will fly into space on the upcoming launch of Blue Origin Company (USA) using the New Shepard rocket.

The flight is sponsored by Space for Humanity (headquartered in Denver – USA), a non-profit organization that specializes in funding space flights to promote changes related to awareness.

The Citizen Astronaut Program of the above organization is implemented with the aim of enabling each citizen astronaut to contribute to solving global challenges.

Antonio Peronace, CEO of Space for Humanity, praised Amanda's upcoming journey as a symbol of "strength, passion and excellence", in line with the organization's mission of "democratizing space and promoting global connectivity".

Amanda emphasized her shared values and vision for the future, saying: "Together, we are committed to changing the way we see space, each other, and the future of humanity. I look forward to my spaceflight, and our journey to a brighter and better future."
