Hanoi Police Club has just announced its first contract for the new season. That is goalkeeper Vu Tuyen Quang, who transferred from Becamex Binh Duong Club with a 2-year contract.
Vu Tuyen Quang was born in 1995 and grew up at the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center. He used to play for Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Hoa Binh and Binh Duong clubs.
In two seasons at Binh Duong Club, Tuyen Quang only played a total of 3 matches. Having no chance to perform in the Southeast region, Tuyen Quang had the opportunity to return home when wearing the Hanoi Police jersey in the following season.
Tuyen Quang was called up to the Vietnam national team by coach Park Hang Seo in 2022. At that time, goalkeeper Dang Van Lam was injured, Quang was in the third position after Bui Tan Truong and Tran Nguyen Manh.
The new recruit of Hanoi Police Club has a slim body but is 1.85m tall. Tuyen Quang can be chosen as the second goalkeeper to replace Do Sy Huy to "share the fire" with Nguyen Filip.
In the 2025 - 2026 season, Hanoi Police will compete in four arenas including V-League, National Cup, AFC Champions League Two and Southeast Asian Club Cup 2025 - 2026.
Coach Alexandre Polking strengthened his squad with the first elements. He just won the first title in his career in Vietnam when he led Hanoi Police to win the 2024 - 2025 National Cup.
After goalkeeper Vu Tuyen Quang, Hanoi Police are expected to introduce other faces.
