(NLDO) - The family of the late musician Meritorious Artist Bac Son has more motivation to spread the cultural and musical heritage he left behind.
People's Artist Hong Van presented the certificate of merit and the award trophy of the play "Bong Canh Co" to singer Bich Thuy.
On the evening of January 2, during the performance of the musical "Bong Canh Stork" at Hong Van Drama Theater, the family of musician and Meritorious Artist Bac Son received a certificate of merit and trophy from the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival 2024 presented by People's Artist Hong Van.

Previously, on November 29, at the closing and award ceremony of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival 2024, the musical "Bong Canh Co" won the award for "Impressive traditional promotional performance". On this occasion, singer Bich Thuy introduced to the audience two songs by musician Bac Son, which according to People's Artist Hong Van may be included in the musical "Bong Canh Co". Those are the songs "Chum Bong Hoa Khe" (sung by singer Bich Phuong) and "Bai Xuan Ca Tuoi Tham" (sung by singers Bich Thuy, Bich Phuong, Khanh Tuan, Vinh Sang).

In the past, the two seasons of the "Bac Son Love Songs" Contest have attracted thousands of contestants to compete. Many young singers from this contest have been loved by the audience.
