The announcement stated: The Central Propaganda Department has received a petition from Meritorious Artist Do Ky, requesting clarification on a number of issues related to the application for the title of People's Artist. The Central Propaganda Department respectfully forwards Meritorious Artist Do Ky's petition to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for resolution and informs the Central Propaganda Department of the results.
Meritorious Artist Do Ky said: "This is a good sign in the review of my application. Hopefully in the near future, I will receive specific and transparent feedback from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism."
Previously, he received a notice to stop considering the 10th People's Artist title. The reason was that the People's Artist title review file had a petition and opinion from the Ministry of Public Security .
On November 24, he sent a petition to the authorities to clarify his questions.
On December 1, he received information from the Department of Performing Arts, a document recording his People's Artist review file left behind due to a petition.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, People's Artist Quoc Tri once said that he was one of the members sitting on the State Council that proposed to consider awarding the title of Meritorious Artist and People's Artist for the 10th time recently.
He affirmed that the members of the Council work transparently, professionally and independently. The Council reviews based on votes, and those who meet the requirements will have their files approved for submission to a higher level.
