This morning, June 26, many people present at the exam site of Vu Quang High School ( Ha Tinh ) could not help but be moved when they saw candidate Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan (former student of class 12A5, Cu Huy Can High School) being helped by volunteers into the room to take the first exam of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Thanh Nhan is petite and has difficulty walking, but she was still present at the exam site early in the morning, making many people admire her determination to overcome difficulties.
Thanh Nhan was born into a farming family of four siblings in Duc Linh commune (Vu Quang district). Despite her congenital disability, she is very studious and always aspires to have a brighter future.
Understanding their child's wishes, for the past 3 years, Nhan's parents have taken turns driving her 8km to school. Their love and sacrifice is the motivation for Thanh Nhan to try harder in her studies.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Vo Quang Hoa - homeroom teacher of class 12A5 at Cu Huy Can High School - said that although her mobility and communication skills are weak, Nhan is very studious. Thanh Nhan's academic achievements are always among the top in the class.
I study all subjects equally, but history is the most outstanding. In the recent high school graduation mock exam, my score ranked second in the whole grade.
"In this year's high school graduation exam, Thanh Nhan was exempted from the graduation exam, but she registered to take the exams in literature, math, history, economic education and law, showing that she always strives to study to assert herself and pursue her dreams," said Mr. Hoa.
