Mr. Le Hong Vinh has just been elected by the People's Council of Nghe An province to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, term 2021 - 2026.
On the afternoon of January 3, the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVIII, 2021 - 2026, held the 26th Session (Special Session) to carry out personnel work and some other contents under its authority.
At the meeting, Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes.
Previously, the Provincial People's Council conducted the process of dismissing Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term due to being assigned other work by the competent authority.
Specifically, on November 12, 2024, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1674-QDNS/TW approving Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Thus, the leadership of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee currently has Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Le Hong Vinh, and 3 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh An, Bui Dinh Long, and Nguyen Van De.
New Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh (born in 1974), hometown in Luu Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An). Professional qualifications: Master's degree, major in Science and Technology Management; Advanced level in Political Theory.
Mr. Le Hong Vinh has held the following positions: Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee (Nghe An); Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Council; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
On December 31, 2024, the Central Party Secretariat issued a decision approving Mr. Le Hong Vinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
