At around 4:00 p.m. today (June 10), residents of Da Phuc ward, Duong Kinh district, Hai Phong city discovered a woman's body wrapped in a sack on the sidewalk, in front of a house whose owner was away.
Witnesses at the scene said they had seen the sack containing the victim’s body since morning, but no one paid attention to it, thinking it was a trash bag thrown away by the public. There were many blood stains next to the body.
The incident has been reported to local authorities and police.
Confirming with VietNamNet reporter, the leader of the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police said: Considering the incident to be of a particularly serious nature, many detectives were sent to the scene to coordinate with the Duong Kinh District Police to investigate.
