Previously, from the beginning of May to June 24, the traffic police force detected 89 violations through images on professional equipment such as surveillance cameras, specialized cameras, flycams... The violations were recorded, then the unit sent violation notices with images to vehicle owners.
So far, 25 cases have been investigated and fined with a total amount of 25.5 million VND. The main violations include picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place, parking illegally, driving in the wrong lane, etc.
When arriving at work, violators will be able to review the images of the violation extracted from the camera, explain the violation, and propagate the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, and comply with the penalty according to regulations.
"Cold" fines are one of the key solutions deployed by the Hai Duong traffic police force in 2025 to raise people's awareness when participating in traffic; at the same time, contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety on National Highway 5, gradually building National Highway 5 as a safe and civilized route.
From the beginning of the year to June 24, the Road Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police discovered and recorded more than 2,900 cases of traffic order and safety violations on National Highway 5, with a total fine of nearly VND8 billion. Of these, 1,190 cases were speeding violations, 370 cases of illegal parking, 37 cases of driving in the wrong lane, 149 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 21 cases of picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place...
