At Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted (located in Hoi An City), the School Youth Union always actively advises the Party cell on the work of developing new Party members, especially developing the Party among students.
In 2024, the School Youth Union introduced 28 outstanding members to participate in a Party awareness training class, through which the Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union and 2 students were admitted to the Party.
Particularly from the beginning of 2025 until now, the Youth Union of Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted has introduced 12 outstanding members to participate in the Party awareness training class.
Mr. Phan Le Minh Bao - Secretary of the Youth Union of Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted said: "The school's Youth Union has also actively advised the school's Party cell on the work of developing Party members, especially student Party members, and has always achieved and exceeded the targets set by the Party cell. Currently, the school's Youth Union has introduced 4 students to be considered for Party admission this year."
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Secretary of Hoi An City Youth Union, in 2024, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Hoi An introduced 198 outstanding members to local Party committees and training units; of which 88 members were admitted to the Party.
Education and training in revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics for union members and young people are also focused on to create a source of Party members and promote the pioneering, exemplary and proactive role of young party members.
Recently, the Hoi An City Youth Union organized the forum "Party with Youth - Youth with the Party" to launch a broad political activity among the city's youth, arousing pride in the glorious tradition and history of the Communist Party of Vietnam , while promoting the sense of responsibility of Hoi An's youth towards the Party and the Fatherland.
At this forum, Hoi An City Youth Union presented a list of 169 outstanding members to the Party Committee for consideration and admission; commended 10 outstanding young Party members of the city in studying and following Uncle Ho in 2025.
“Through the commendation, we hope to spread the good values of Hoi An youth in the new era, creating motivation to encourage young people to actively participate in revolutionary action movements of the union - association, patriotic emulation, actively train, and multiply examples of young party members who live with noble ideals, aspirations and ambitions, dare to take action, and contribute to the Fatherland and the community,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu.
According to Mr. Le Choi - Standing Deputy Secretary of Hoi An City Party Committee, in 2024, Hoi An Party Committee admitted 116 new party members, reaching 105.45% of the set target; many of whom are union members, youth, and students. Since the beginning of the 2020 - 2025 term, Hoi An has admitted 27 new party members who are students and 3 new party members who are university students.
“To effectively carry out the annual Party development, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has directed localities and grassroots Party organizations to pay attention to and foster the youth union members, creating conditions for youth union members to strive to mature and soon join the Party. If youth union members strive well and grassroots Party organizations pay attention, they will soon join the Party,” Mr. Le Choi shared.
