Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Military Command; leaders of Van Ban district, representatives of a number of departments, offices, and units of the district and Liem Phu commune.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Po, born in 1936 in O village; Ms. Lang Thi Van, born in 1930 in O village and Mr. La Van Kim, born in 1933 in Gieng village. All three were frontline laborers who directly participated in the fighting and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
At the places visited, Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly inquired about the health and life of the frontline workers; expressed respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers in the resistance war against the French.
On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, wishes you good health and to continue to be a shining example in the cause of fighting, building and protecting the Fatherland of the nation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Party Committee and the authorities of Van Ban district to continue promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation, regularly pay attention to and well implement the policies of the Party and State, and take care of the lives of war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of people with revolutionary contributions.
