Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of heroes, martyrs, and families of people with meritorious services to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Stemming from the sentiment, responsibility, tradition, and morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree" of the Vietnamese people, Phu Thuong ward has actively contributed and participated in social activities, such as: Giving gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, families of people with revolutionary contributions, giving gifts to families with difficult circumstances, etc.
In the coming time, agencies, units and people in the ward will continue to join hands and contribute to carry out practical and specific tasks to express gratitude for the great contributions of families of war invalids and martyrs; contributing to sharing the daily difficulties of each family. Thereby, contributing to Phu Thuong ward to effectively implement social security policies and join hands to build Phu Thuong ward to develop sustainably.
Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong also respectfully thanked E Hospital, Saigon Hanoi Eye Hospital and benefactors for accompanying Phu Thuong Ward in implementing programs to show gratitude and repay the kindness of families of people with revolutionary contributions.
On the morning of July 26, doctors and Phu Thuong Ward Health Station organized medical examinations and provided medicine to 105 people with meritorious services and policy families.
On this occasion, Phu Thuong ward also presented 162 gifts, with a total value of 113.4 million VND to families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions in the area.
