One of the most notable positions is the goalkeeper position. In this position, U.23 Vietnam has famous goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien (HAGL) who is highly appreciated. Tran Trung Kien has been called up to the Vietnam national team, participating in the AFF Cup 2024 and the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. However, at the present time, Tran Trung Kien has to face a very potential opponent, that is goalkeeper Cao Van Binh (SLNA). This is an advantage that goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien does not have. Tran Trung Kien has hardly played with the defenders in the current Vietnam U.23 team. The reason is that when the Vietnam U.23 team gathers, goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien is busy gathering with the national team at the same time.
These are all things that goalkeeper Cao Van Binh can hope for in competing for an official position with goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien.
