Strictly manage the use of additives and agricultural processing aids

Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has issued a document directing sectors and localities to proactively implement measures to ensure production, processing, consumption and export of agricultural products.

Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Industry and Trade proactively coordinate with specialized agencies at the central level to provide information and recommendations to farmers, cooperatives, cooperatives, and production enterprises in line with market demand from production, harvesting, preliminary processing, processing, packaging, transportation, and traceability to promote official exports.

Strengthen inspection and prevention of fraud, counterfeiting of goods origin, prevention of counterfeit and poor quality goods; strictly manage the use of additives, processing aids, and post-harvest preservation of agricultural products, and overcome the use of chemicals harmful to consumers' health.

Timely inform and guide agricultural production, trading and export enterprises in the province to closely monitor information on circulation and customs clearance capacity of agricultural products at border gates, promptly adjust production and business plans, regulate export volume to flexibly adapt, and minimize congestion of agricultural products at border gates.

Increase purchasing and storing of agricultural products, especially during peak harvest season to support agricultural product consumption for people.

Coordinate with local authorities to continue directing and guiding the synchronous and drastic implementation of solutions to prevent and control diseases in crops, livestock and aquatic products, not allowing dangerous epidemics to occur on a large scale affecting agricultural production, especially livestock, aquaculture and crop cultivation.

In addition, the sectors continue to promote research, application of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation in agriculture, and put into use new plant and animal varieties with high productivity, good quality, and adaptation to climate change.

Focus on researching and applying technology to support preservation and deep processing, especially for fruit trees with advantages of the province and high-value items, diversifying products, shifting from exporting raw products to refined products and canned foods, increasing the added value of agricultural products.

At the same time, encourage and promote production according to product chains, build growing area codes, trace product origins, and ensure food safety.
