According to Opta's supercomputer, Chelsea are the team with the highest chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with a 74.75% chance. Real Madrid is second with 60.12%. Surprisingly, Al Hilal - the phenomenon of this year's tournament - is third with 59.98%.
In fourth place is reigning European champion PSG with 57.78%. In the next positions are Bayern Munich (42.22%), Fluminense (40.02%), Dortmund (39.88%) and Palmeiras (25.25%).
Based on the assessment of the supercomputer Opta, it can be seen that the 4 teams including Chelsea, Real Madrid, Al Hilal and PSG are rated higher than their opponents in the quarter-finals.
Also according to Opta's supercomputer, Chelsea is currently the team with the highest probability of winning the FIFA Club World Cup (26.90%). Next are PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Al Hilal, Palmeiras, and finally Fluminense.
These rankings show the change in the position of the candidates. In particular, PSG, from being the number 1 candidate before the round of 16, has fallen to second place behind Chelsea.
The supercomputer's prediction is based on many factors, including the assessment of the bracket and the next opponents. With PSG falling into a very difficult bracket with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Dortmund... their chances of winning the championship are of course reduced.
