Exciting Ba Ria Newspaper Cross Country Race

According to Ms. Do Nguyen Hoang Dung - Acting Editor-in-Chief, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Cross-Country Race, this year's race marks a big step forward in the increasingly growing community-based activity, organized by the Newspaper for the past 26 years and is the 24th race to be widely socialized.

In addition to attracting the largest number of athletes ever - more than 3,000 people, the race also had the participation of delegations from more than 30 press agencies from provinces and cities across the country.

This year, for the first time, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Traditional Cross Country Race organized the 21km and 10km Half Marathon. The race attracted nearly 1,000 athletes from 40 provinces and cities across the country, including top Vietnamese runners who have achieved high results in domestic and international competitions, marking a new development step for the race.

The total prize money of the 24th season is up to 300 million VND, an increase of nearly 40% compared to last year, making the 24th Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Cross Country Race one of the long-distance races with the highest prize in Vietnam.

The 24th Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Cross Country Race is a regional event, preparing the force to participate in national cross country races. Thereby, promoting strong and even development in both breadth and depth of the sports movement in the provinces and cities of the Southeast region.
