On November 19, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province signed a decision to promulgate a plan to recruit teachers for Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, school year 2024-2025.
According to the plan, Hue National High School for the Gifted will recruit 10 teachers for the following subjects: math, history, French, Japanese, physical education , fine arts, national defense and security education .
The recruitment of teachers at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, school year 2024-2025, is conducted in the form of selection, through 2 rounds: checking the admission conditions; taking a professional exam and surveying English and IT subjects.

Candidates must be university graduates majoring in education or have graduated with honors; have excellent academic and training results during their university years.
At the same time, candidates must win Third Prize or higher in one of the provincial-level excellent student competitions, Encouragement Prize or higher in national excellent student competitions, or Certificate of Merit or higher in international excellent student competitions during their time studying in high school.
Won third prize or higher in national or international science and technology competitions, Olympic competitions during high school or university.
People with a master's degree must have graduated from a university with a pedagogical major or graduated from a university with honors or higher, with a postgraduate training major similar to the university training major.
A person with a doctorate degree must not be over 40 years old. Before obtaining a doctorate degree, he/she must have graduated from a university with a good degree in pedagogy or higher, and have a postgraduate training major that is suitable for the training major at the university level.
Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted was established in 1896 by the decree of King Thanh Thai. This is where President Ho Chi Minh, General Secretary Tran Phu, General Secretary Le Duan, General Vo Nguyen Giap, ... studied and taught.

The latest contestant to win the laurel wreath is Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Mathematics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue, at the final round of Road to Olympia 2024.
