According to the proposal, Sun Group hopes that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will create favorable conditions for it to research and invest in infrastructure projects in the Saigon River area (former Cu Chi district) under the form of public-private partnership (PPP) and BT (build-transfer) contracts.
Specifically, the enterprise proposed to build a road along the Saigon River with a scale of 8 to 10 lanes, about 40 km long. At the same time, invest in a metro or tramway line running along the Saigon River through the area of Cu Chi district (old).
Unlike the previous proposal in 2024, Sun Group wanted to invest in a 78.2 km long riverside route extending from Cu Chi to Can Gio bridge, this time the project scale is narrower.

Regarding the investment form, Sun Group proposed to invest in the form of BT, with a counterpart mechanism of land fund and investment rights in land plots along the Saigon River in Cu Chi district (old) with a total area of about 4,100 hectares.
In addition, Sun Group also proposed to invest in two other major projects: Rach Chiec National Sports Complex (scale of 187 hectares) and National Historical and Cultural Park (scale of 395 hectares).
These two projects were also proposed by Sun Group to be invested in the form of BT, with a counterpart mechanism of land fund and investment rights in Truong Tho Urban Area with an area of 147 hectares.
Sun Group affirms that with its capacity and experience in implementing many large-scale projects across the country, if selected as the investor of the above projects, the enterprise commits to implementing them quickly and effectively to contribute to promoting socio -economic development for Ho Chi Minh City.
