At Km168+900, National Highway 40B, the road surface has sunk 0.6 to 1 meter deep, extending over 20 meters. Near this area, there is also a "death hole" 1 meter wide and over 1.2 meters deep, posing a danger to road users.

The locality has coordinated to put up warning signs, request the road management unit to urgently make temporary repairs and recommend installing a large drainage system to thoroughly handle the subsidence.

National Highway 40B is the main route connecting Tu Mo Rong to Da Nang City. Recently, heavy rains have caused many locations to sink and crack, making travel difficult.
