Loc Troi Group has another change in senior personnel

Loc Troi Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: LTG) has just announced that it has received the resignation letter of Mr. Johan Sven Richard Boden - Member of the Board of Directors (BOD). In the letter, he stated that he resigned for personal reasons.

Mr. Johan Sven Richard Boden was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Loc Troi for the 2024-2029 term at the 2024 annual general meeting of shareholders on June 26. Thus, he has only been in office for nearly 2 months.

According to the introduction, Mr. Johan Sven Richard Boden is a Swedish national and is currently the General Director of DenEast Vietnam Co., Ltd. At Loc Troi, he and his related parties do not hold any shares in the enterprise.

Mr. Johan Sven Richard Boden is one of the new faces elected to the Board of Directors for the new term. Only Mr. Huynh Van Thon - Chairman of the Board of Directors is an "old man". Some other figures elected to the Board of Directors for the new term are Mr. Mandrawa Winston Leo, Mr. Vo Tri Thanh and Ms. Vu Hong Trang.

Previously in July, Loc Troi announced the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan from the position of General Director. In an open letter from Chairman of the Board of Directors Huynh Van Thon, he announced that he would directly direct and manage the group's activities until a decision was made to appoint a new General Director.

Mr. Thon also committed that after stabilizing personnel and stabilizing effective production and business, he will fulfill all responsibilities and obligations to management agencies, partners, banks, distributors, farmers...

To date, Loc Troi has not yet announced its financial report for the second quarter of this year. In the first quarter, the company lost more than VND96 billion after tax and in the same period last year, it also lost more than VND81 billion.

The company explained the loss because the ratio of cost of goods sold to net revenue this year was higher than the same period last year. Cost of goods sold increased by 65% while revenue increased by only 57% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, interest expenses and exchange rate losses increased faster than the increase in other revenue and income, so profits decreased.
