TTI Group is about to expand its factory in Ho Chi Minh City.

Techtronic Industries Group (TTI, Germany) wants to expand its Milwaukee factory in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park in the near future.

On the afternoon of July 8, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Horst Pudwill, Chairman and Founder of Techtronic Industries Group (TTI, Germany) had a working session with Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc about expanding investment in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the meeting, Mr. Horst Pudwill said that TTI started operating in Vietnam since August 2018 and currently has 8 factories in industrial parks in Dong Nai and Binh Duong (old).

Particularly in Ho Chi Minh City (old), the Group has a Milwaukee factory in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP), a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, a Warranty Center and a display center for Milwaukee brand products in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi .

Speaking with the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Horst Pudwill said that the Group has plans to expand the production activities of the Milwaukee factory at SHTP.

At the same time, he hopes to continue expanding cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City in developing supply chains and advanced manufacturing solutions.

On the side of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc informed the leaders of TTI Group that Ho Chi Minh City has just completed the merger with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau , and is actively implementing a two-level local government model to improve the effectiveness of state management and improve the investment and business environment for businesses and people.

“After merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the new Ho Chi Minh City will have space for development on a larger scale with the expectation of becoming a megacity, a leading economic, innovation, logistics and financial center of Vietnam and the region,” Mr. Duoc emphasized.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hopes that TTI will not only expand investment but also promote research and development (R&D) cooperation, promote technology transfer and support the development of the city's high-tech supply chain.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City leaders hope that TTI will accompany them in human resource development activities, support youth startups, sponsor scholarships, organize short-term internship programs, and coordinate with universities and technical colleges in the area to train highly qualified engineers in the STEM field.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee affirmed that TTI will continue to be an important strategic partner in the orientation of building a knowledge-based and innovative economy of the City in the coming period.
