Ship collides with 35KV power line, causing power outage on entire Cat Ba island

On the evening of August 26, Hai Phong Electricity Company Limited announced an incident causing a power interruption on Cat Ba Island (Cat Hai District, Hai Phong ).

The cause was that at 4:10 p.m. the same day, the ship hit the 35 KV line around pole 104 - 105 (around the pole crossing Lach Huyen sea).

Estimated power restoration time is 5:00 p.m. on August 28.

According to Hai Phong Electricity Company Limited, this is an objective incident, the unit is coordinating with relevant agencies to restore power supply as soon as possible.

At this time, the number of tourists coming to the island is not as high as in the summer, and power outages will also affect people's lives.
