The delegation visited and encouraged female urban environmental workers who were performing environmental sanitation in Phuc Xa ward (Ba Dinh district); Phuc Tan and Chuong Duong wards (Hoan Kiem district); Bach Dang ward (Hai Ba Trung district).
According to Vice President of the Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited's Trade Union Hoang Thi Bich Hanh, since storm No. 3 made landfall, environmental sanitation workers have been reinforced by 100% of their workforce to focus on collecting garbage and fallen trees on the streets. However, the company is currently facing the most difficulty in collecting garbage in deeply flooded areas such as Phuc Xa ward (Ba Dinh district); Phuc Tan and Chuong Duong wards (Hoan Kiem district); Bach Dang ward (Hai Ba Trung district). Therefore, the unit has implemented a plan to use boats for workers to collect garbage in a timely manner, despite the flood, but not letting garbage spill into people's houses.
Vice President of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Thi Thien Huong highly appreciated the efforts of female workers of Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3; at the same time, encouraged female workers to overcome difficulties to do a good job of preserving the environment, contributing to making the streets clean and beautiful.
On this occasion, the Vice President of the Hanoi Women's Union presented gifts to female workers of Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited who are working at these locations.
