The two teams played an exciting back-and-forth game after the opening whistle. In the 6th minute, Gia Bao made a smart pass, Van Bach escaped and finished but Htet Wai Yan dived to save the goal.

Right after this situation, Van Bach released the ball for Viet Long to cross, the U16 Myanmar defender managed to clear the ball before Gia Bao could finish.

The great pressure helped U16 Vietnam break the deadlock. In the 18th minute, from a pass from his teammate, Thai Hoa fired a long-range shot that left goalkeeper Htet Wai Yan helpless.

In the 26th minute, the score was 2-0 for U16 Vietnam. Starting from a situation where the U16 Myanmar defender did not clear the ball well, Thai Hoa from the second line rushed up and fired a powerful and beautiful shot that goalkeeper Yan Htet Wai could not block.
